Coming in to bat in a difficult situation, Hardik, along with Ravindra Jadeja, helped India’s chase get back on track and delivered three key boundaries in the penultimate over bowled by Haris Rauf to put India in position to win.
With Hardik on strike and India needing 6 runs off 3 balls, things weren’t simple when left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz clean bowled Jadeja on the first delivery of the last over.

After hitting the winning shot, Dinesh Karthik, the wicketkeeper batsman, had an amazing reaction and bowed before Hardik.
Hardik also took three key wickets in the middle order, breaking the back of Pakistan’s batting, allowing India to limit their bitter opponents to a disappointing score of 147. It was a day to remember for Hardik.
